How does the BioSURE Food Intolerance Test work?
Our food intolerance test are performed from a fingerprick blood sample and analysed for IgG 1,2,3 & 4 antibodies.
Usually when foods move through your digestive system they are broken down into the parts that make them up, such as glucose (sugars), amino acids (protein) and fat, so they can be absorbed, but if your gut becomes bloated or inflammed these components can go into your bloodstream. Your immune system can them see them as a threat and produces IgG antibodies which subsequently cause symptoms such as migraines, inflammation and IBS.
